The Overview
Run The Globe is a month-long fundraiser for Speak Your Truth Today in October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Participants are invited to join a collective fitness challenge by logging workouts throughout the month to aim to collectively circumnavigate the globe (40,075 kilometers) and demonstrate solidarity with survivors.

The Problem
Following the successful launch of Run The Globe in 2022, our team convened to evaluate its effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. The 'running' component of the campaign was facilitated through RunSignup, a popular platform for running fundraising events. However, we received feedback from many first-time users who found the RunSignup interface confusing and struggled to understand the connection to domestic violence. To address these challenges, we determined the need for a pre-signup platform that could effectively explain the campaign's purpose.

The Solution
To complement the website upgrade, we also implemented a new branding identity for Run The Globe. I developed a bold and sporty logo. The redesigned website effectively communicated our mission, goals, and participation guidelines, seamlessly guiding new users through the process. Additionally, it established a direct connection to the platform where users could log their activities.
